FCCLA is the acronym for Family, Career and Community Leaders of America. The mission of this student organization is to promote personal growth and leadership skills through Family and Consumer Sciences classes and community service projects.

At Chilton County High School, FCCLA is available for students who are enrolled (or who were previously enrolled) in Family and Consumer Sciences class(es).

The community service projects vary each school year. Examples of past projects include:

  • Assisting with local food drive
  • Collecting Stockings for Soldiers
  • Helping raise money for Relay for Life
  • Making homemade cards for the nursing home

There is a $25 fee to join FCCLA which covers the cost of state and national affiliation as well as an FCCLA t-shirt.

The deadline for first semester students to enroll will be Friday, September 25, 2020. A second opportunity for students to join will take place in January 2021.
